Kara's First Christmas

Wake up Daddy! It's time to go to Colorado for Christmas!!!

Mommy made me take a bath before we could leave.

I'm bored waiting on Mommy and Daddy to load up the car.

I'm ready! Let's go!!!

The very first hotel I ever stayed at.

My first night on the road.

I got to go to the mountains for the first time. Mommy and Daddy were nervous about driving in the snow, but I wasn't. I just slept in the backseat.

I was so happy to get to see Mama Lynn and Papa Steve.

They had Christmas dinner all ready when we got there,

and I got to sit at the table like a big girl. The chair was a little big, so they had to prop me up.

I loved sitting at the kitchen table!

It was a long trip and I was tired.

Mama Lynn and Papa Steve got me Monk-Monk for Christmas!

I love smiling at him and chewing on his tail.

Sometimes I forget to look at the camera...

I got to play in the snow.

Daddy buried me in the snow. I didn't really like it much.

But I did like playing with Daddy. He's so much fun!

Later when Mommy, Daddy, and Papa Steve went sledding

Mama Lynn and I got to play in the warm house.
Papa Steve is the best pillow! I loved getting to help in the kitchen!
He-He! Papa Steve and I are playing while Mama Lynn is working!

I had such a good time in Cedaredge!

Then I headed to Eads to get to see my family there.

Unfortunately Mommy didn't get pictures of everyone,

but I did enjoy seeing my family for the first time.

Great Grandma Lougene was so much fun to play with.
