The Kids
Playing before church.
She was holding Charlie to the door saying, "See Dean?" (Dean's our neighbor.)
Showing off her princess shirt.
She holds her hands like this a lot. Ironic that she's wearing a princess shirt and holding her hands like a princess...
I love pastel colors on Lexi!!
"Seriously, my parents are so mean. They don't even give me toys to play with!"
Jackpot!
She has the biggest smile!
Kara didn't like Lexi sitting in the cart with her. Lexi thought it was great!
Fire.
Both girls reading their morning devotions.
Fun in the tub!

6am panic attack
At 6am this morning Lexi decided she was hungry. Upon opening the bedroom door the first thing I saw was Kara's bed... empty! I began moving all the toys and feeling around in the dark but I couldn't find her anywhere. Thinking my worse fear had become a reality I started to panic. Meanwhile, Lexi's over in her crib saying, "Mom, I'm hungry! Mom. Mom. Over here. Mom." I thought, 'Well maybe she climbed into Lexi's bed and that's why Lexi woke up.' I turned on the closet light to be able to see better and turn around to find Kara, asleep, half on half off the side of the rocking chair. I could have cried I was so happy. I got Preston out of bed so that he could see how she was laying, then we had a moment of giggles, then we put her back in bed, THEN we thought that we should have taken a picture. Oh well...
Also, we figured out the secret to getting Lexi to sleep at night. Wait for it... socks. Are you kidding me?!?! We went through all those sleepless nights and all the kid needed was SOCKS on her feet?!?! Now, with socks on, she sleeps from 8pm to about 6am.
This is pretty much what we found at 6am... minus the Elmo and her legs were off the side.

A Day At The Pumpkin Patch.
My friend and I took our kids to the pumpkin patch while our husbands were working on Saturday. Here's Kara and Maddy inside the giant pumpkin.
Looking at the bunnies. They had just been fed so they weren't willing to come out of their home. Not even for a cute little 2-year old saying, "Bubby, c'mere."
Feeding the goats. From then on Kara called the dried corn "goat food."
"Lost" in the corn maze.
Kara and Jacob
The giant inch-worm... but Kara called it "cal-pilla."
Kara and Maddy
They were holding hands. :)
She kept pointing at the water saying, "See water, cow?"
She called the llamas "babies." Maybe she thought they were baby horses?
Kara took one of the twin's spot in the stroller. I think she just wanted to buckle herself in.
There were so many ladybugs on this sign. Kara thought it was great!!
Danielle, Maddy, and Kara on the big slide.
It really wasn't that easy to slide down.
Kara wanted to sit on the "blue-pink." Every color these days has become blue-pink.
So fun!
This is a picture from a few days ago. Kara set the table all by herself. She was so proud.
Kara originally had all the Noah's Ark animals in the basket with her, but she tossed them out and said, "Sister, get in."
Lexi isn't quite crawling yet, but if you put a blanket on the floor she'll scoot all the way across the room to get it!
She liked sitting in the grass.
Secretly, Charlie loves the attention.
Mummy baby.
