Sorry I haven't put up new pictures in a while. I've been busy cleaning up an Oreo face.
Thank you, Nabisco, for making a snack that although messy, does not contain milk!!!
Giving hugs to her two favorite toys. This is a daily occurrence.

Here's what Preston's been up to lately. Rachel's parents cut out the rocking chair and Preston is putting it together. He hopes to have it finished by Kara's birthday.

While I was folding laundry Kara and Charlie were playing in the laundry basket.

(Click on this one to make it larger so you can see her face!)

...they came and started squawking back at her! Then she got a little scared. See how shes turning around making sure Preston is still there?

One of the first things we looked at were the "Feathered Friends."
Kara kept squawking at them and shaking the fence until.....
Maybe in a few years Kara will be big enough to go on it, too.

But for now, we'll just take her on the smaller gunny-sack slide.

Kara also enjoyed looking at the goats. She kept saying, "Cat!"

Kara is too little to ride on the train, but that didn't stop her from trying!

The rabbits were another thing she really enjoyed.

Joseph helping Kara ride the stallion.

(We changed her into shorts because it got kind of warm.)

We've been practicing holding up one finger to tell people how old she will be. (Notice her right hand.)
Every now and then I decide to do a photo-shoot.

(The grass was wet at the bottom of the bridge and she wasn't liking it.)

(I'm not really sure what she was doing. She's such a little ham!!)

We also ate S'mores.
Kara's S'mores were made of just graham crackers, but she didn't seem to mind.

Here she is at breakfast this morning. She is definitely her daddy's child. In addition to the bananas and eggs, Kara polished off THREE biscuits!

Kara: I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you!

This is right before church a few weeks ago. This is one of the pretty dresses that Aunt Elizabeth gave to Kara. Isn't she cute in it?

She LOVES bananas. She even says "ba-ba-ba-ba" meaning banana. Sometimes she makes funny faces when she eats, and lucky me, I caught this one on camera!

Kara has turned into quite the little climber. She likes to climb up onto this rocking chair, and if the rocking chair is next to any other piece of furniture, she'll use it to climb on up.
