Lexi's Baby Dedication Service

Trying on her dress.

The baby in pink is Meghan. She was born day before Lexi. During the Dedication Service Lexi kept pointing at Meghan and "talking" to her to try to get her attention.

Tired after a long day.

Here's Kara before we left for church. If it ever stops snowing we can put the girls in cute dresses again.

Just a random picture.... or two...

This is probably my new favorite picture. Look at those blue eyes!! She didn't want to put down her milk, but she wanted to hold her kitty. Too cute!

And since I'd feel guilty if I only posted a picture of Lexi, here's one of Kara and her best friend. He loves her. If pictures could talk this one would be purring.

Mid-February Picture Update

While I'm sure sons are a lot of fun, there are just somethings that make me glad I had girls! I braided Kara's hair for the first time. How adorable is that?!?

I love to watch them play together.

We taught her to blow kisses!

She even makes the "kissing sound". It's seriously cute!

She is such a delight!

And those blue eyes just melt our hearts!

What a doll!

This is Kara's Puggle group on Wednesday nights.

A few weeks ago when I took this picture Lexi had figured out she could climb up on the bottom ledge like this. She would get real excited like she thought she was pretty big stuff! Now thats old news... she can now climb OUT of the walker. Well, it was handy while it lasted. Guess I'll have to think of a better way to conceal her while I vacuum. Hmm, wonder if that's why there's a 5-point harness on the high chair??

Watching cars.

Watching cars is a lot of fun.

Watching cars is a lot more fun with a friend.

For Christmas the girls got matching puppies. Lexi claimed them both. She loves these little guys.

More hugs for the puppies.

Kara reading her Bible.

They're silly!!

But they're a lot of fun!

She is growing up so fast. I can't believe she's almost 1!

Kind of hard to get a good picture when you're trying to keep Lexi from falling, but Kara was giving Lexi a ride on her tractor.

Kara told me she was eating, "yellow snow." She has no idea how funny she is.

Lexi was a little distracted during the SuperBowl.

Actually, come to think of it, Kara didn't watch much of the SuperBowl either.

Charlie was laying in Lexi's bed and the girls thought it was hysterical. (He doesn't normally get in there, or if he does he jumps out before we come home.)

Lexi kept laughing and pointing.

Reading her favorite book to Lexi in the princess tent.

Cutie!

"Oh dear! Somebody put my favorite bear in the walker!"

"That's better!"

Yep, Lexi can stand up now. She's taken about 8 steps on her own, as well!

It's too bad Lexi is blurry because this is a really cute picture.

She loves play-doh. See her little tongue sticking out? She's focused!

Headed to church.

Everytime we go to WalMart we have to stop and say hi to the fish.

Playing a game.

"Hmm, what should I make for breakfast?"

Matching clothes.

They're cute!

Popsicle!

Painting is another one of her favorite things.

She is dancing and watching her pig-tails (bunny ears) bounce in the shadow.
