Reminder: if you click on the pictures it makes them larger.
Eating a tortilla.
Just think, only 14 years until she'll be driving us around.
(I think my heart just momentarily stopped beating.)
We have the best backyard ever!
These kitties were born under our neighbors grill but then the mama cat moved them onto our porch (which was EXCITING to the girls!) but then the mama cat moved them again to another neighbors porch.
(Edited to add: After Preston saw that he asked why I wrote a thesis on the moving of the cats. Answer: to remind myself in later years how excited the kids were that they had kittens on their porch.)
Visiting Jesus and Peter on one of our walks around campus.
Helping sister get a drink.
Kara likes to be a helper.
Texas has more butterflies than I can remember from living in any other state.
Picnic's are some of our favorite things to do.
Kara found the perfect tree for climbing.
I have a pilates work-out video.
It is HILARIOUS to watch them do it with me.
More pilates.
Easter Jell-o.
We attempted to make Resurrection Cookies on Good Friday.
We put them in the "tomb" and went to bed....
.... but the next morning our cookies were not empty.
Fail.
I guess we'll try again next year.
Here's the best picture I could get of the girls Easter dresses.
They were not in a picture mood on Easter morning.
Making tigers in the circus.
Working hard on her tiger.
They wanted to take pictures next to their tigers once they were hung on the wall.
(Also, note the red picture right above it. The random "letters" in the bottom right corner is how Kara writes her name. She's getting better since this picture was taken, but for a while she just made 4 random shapes.)
Lexi next to her tiger picture.
Playing dress-up.
When did she get so big??
(This is the tunnel that goes under the main road connecting the housing to the main campus.)
Picking every flower we can.
Looking at the fish and turtles.
They love corn on the cob.
My friend gave the girls some "My-Little-Ponies" that her daughter didn't play with anymore.
(It seems like there is always one picture that I forget to turn.)
Let's just say if this little fella ever gets INSIDE my house somebody better come pick my fainted body up off the floor.
This picture does not do him justice. He didn't look like a lizard. He looked like a mini-alligator.
Snuggling with Daddy while he studies for finals.
(She loves to pick out her own clothes nowadays.)
Helping Daddy study.
She was making a "grrrr" sound like Daddy's motorcycle.
She rode all the way to campus, around campus and back home and still wanted to play on the playground when we got back home!
I wish I had a tenth of the energy she has!!
I don't know why I didn't think of this sooner.
I gave my little helpers some swiffer-pads and a squirt bottle of water and let them mop the floor.
Kept them entertained for at least a good hour.
Seriously, they loved this.
And when that got old, wet paper towels to wash the windows!
Why, oh why, did this just now occur to me??
