Lexi
Kara
She has become such a little mommy and has really taken to this particular baby doll.
Of course, BabyBear is still the favorite and is generally within arm's reach all throughout the day.
This is the day that I watched 5 kids under the age of 3.
Two 3 year olds and 3 almost two year olds.
The seminary sponsored an Eggstravaganza for the kids.
Before they started, one of the professors taught the kids about Christ's death and resurrection.

He invited all the kids to come sit at the front but my Lexi was too shy.
Not my Kara though!
She plopped down right next to a girl she doesn't even know.

Everyone was suppose to bring their own baskets.
I know we own two Easter baskets, but I could only find one.
So, Kara got a Halloween bucket.
And Lexi got the Easter basket.
See all the blue eggs?
Kara ran past every other color and only picked up blues.

(This is after we dumped out the candy, that's why all the eggs are in Lexi's basket.)
Yay! Candy!
Kara loves bounce houses!
I shoved Lexi in, but she came right back out.
After watching sister bounce for a few minutes, Lexi decided maybe she'd try it after all.
This one had a climbing rope. That man in the picture right behind her told her she might be too little to climb the rope. She gave him this look like, "Are you kidding?" and climbed the rock faster than the older kids!
After the Eggstravaganza each kid had the opportunity to hug the First Lady, Dorothy Patterson, and tell her thank you. Then she gave them Resurrection suckers.
Great Grandma Lougene sent the girls Easter jewlery.
G.G. is so sweet! We are so blessed to be a part of her family.
Playing kitchen.
Kara looks so small in this picture.
Birthday Morning!
Daddy let her open one present before breakfast.
This one is from Allie, the baby that I babysit.
She asked for chocolate chip muffins for breakfast.
Helping make her birthday cake.
Licking the beater.
Another cutie licking the beater.
The 2 year old birthday girl!
(For a small portion of the day her hair was braided. But that didn't last long.)
The birthday girl standing by the birthday bears we made.
She asked for a BabyBear cake.
First, I will show you the cake.....
.
.
.
I don't have a bear cake pan, so I made a Precious Moments cake into a BabyBear cake.
Not to toot my own horn but... toot toot!
Birth minute pictures (with BabyBear.)
Random cute picture of Kara while we waited on daddy to get home from work.
Then we went to Chuck E Cheese for supper.
The girls have been so excited about this. They have been talking about it since... well, since January when we went last time and told them we'd go again for Lexi's birthday.
(Oops, forgot to turn it. Oh well.)
They gave the birthday girl a sticker.
Eating her birthday dinner. Pizza! Her favorite!
Playing the games and riding the rides.
Next it was time for cake.
Blowing out the candle.
Devouring the cake.
She lost one of her braids throughout the day as well.
And, of course, PRESENTS!
She loves turtles right now.
A mama turtle and a baby turtle.
Princess bag!
One last present.
What could it be?
She shouted, "ELMO!!!"
Keeping all of her presents close.
Lexi did, eventually, let Kara try the Elmo chair.
And so concludes Lexi's 2nd birthday.
We are thankful for these 2 years that God has given her to us and we look forward to what He has in store for her future.
